Each year, the Cuban government gathers the hard numbers of the economic and social impact of the illegal and unilateral blockade enforced by the United States government. This year’s report comes amidst a full pressure campaign from the Trump administration causing widespread instability across the small island nation. The report is also released in the lead up to the annual vote in the United Nations General Assembly to condemn the blockade, which will take place some time near the end of October.
