Scholarships
Several scholarships are available to help you finance your trip to Cuba
CNC Scholarships
The Canadian Network on Cuba offers multiple scholarship opportunities to assist Brigadistas in the total cost of their trip. CNC scholarships are funded entirely by donations, therefore scholarship amounts are determined based on fundraising capacity each year.
Indigenous Scholarship
The CNC Indigenous scholarship is open to all peoples identifying as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit. Being a country of many nations, we recognize the connection between the struggle for sovereignty in Cuba and the struggle of Indigenous nations for sovereignty in Canada. Through this scholarship we aim to deepen the solidarity between Indigenous peoples of Canada and Cuba, as further educate our communities on the intersection of these movements.

General Need Scholarship
This scholarship was created to support those who otherwise would not be able to attend the Brigade on their own. All are welcome to apply and expand their knowledge of Cuban history and culture, and the situation in the Caribbean and Latin America. The CNC recognizes that the struggle of working class Canadians is directly tied to the struggle for liberation in Latin America. We strive to make the Brigade as accessible as possible to bring all movements for the future together.
