As the Biden Administration enters its 17th month, it has steadfastly refused to end the U.S. blockade of Cuba and end the 243 tightened sanctions imposed by Trump.
For 23 months now, the Miami Caravan Against the U.S. blockade has mobilized Cubans and non-Cubans alike, to build bridges of love between the people of Cuba and the United States. We organize to unite in action the growing numbers who oppose the blockade’s burden on the Cuban family and those who support Cuba’s right to self-determination regardless of differing political positions. |

A global pandemic and 60 years of the US embargo have made life difficult in Cuba. As always, the young suffer the most. We want to help the kids. Our project will focus on 3 areas, basic school supplies for Primary level kids, (kindergarten to grade 6), teaching aids for Special Needs kids and music instruments.

Havana, 1 May 2022.
Veteran Cuban diplomat and politician Ricardo Alarcon passed away today in Havana, close to his 85th birthday, relatives and official sources confirmed.
The history of Cuban revolutionary diplomacy cannot be written without mentioning among its most precious pages the brilliant and innovative performance of Ricardo Alarcon de Quesada, the Havana embassy in Romania wrote on social media.
Alarcon served as Foreign Minister from 1991 to 1993; he was Cuba’s ambassador to the UN when the island sat at the Security Council as a non-permanent representative, and for 20 years he presided over Cuba’s National Assembly of People’s Power (parliament).
