A big thank you to Thomas Walkom for his insight into the Ottawa’s erroneous position on Venezuela.
Canada should not be supporting U.S. interference in what clearly was the democratic election of Nicolas Maduro.
I am shocked and ashamed at Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freedland’s role and wonder what is truly behind this unusual role for Canada.
Canada should instead raise its voice to criticize the U.S. administration for creating the crisis in Venezuela, and supporting an indefensible coup.
