Cuba News and Events

Cuba has taken full advantage of the internet to deliver news and information to the world. The range of Cuban websites is vast, though for english-language audiences, it can be a challenge to find accessible content.

Fortunately, Cuba's daily newspaper, Granma International, is available online in several languages, as is Radio Havana Cuba, which had previously only been accessible to shortwave radio aficionados.

One of the most important efforts by Cuba's international friends is to "Break the Information Blockade", as journalist Karen Wald describes the effort to address the lack of Cuba-origin news coverage available to, particularly, North American audiences.

Here we provide links to English-language versions of several Cuban websites., a few other English-language sites produced outside of Cuba and Cuban websites in Spanish. The CNC does not endorse nor control the content available on external websites.
