Dear friends,
I write to thank you for the generosity you have been showing in your
response to the harm done to Cuba by the rare and unexpected tornado of
January 27 that ravaged parts of Havana (please see CNC Cuba Tornado Relief Campaign).
Your response is reflecting
the sterling recuperative work being done by a variety of Cuban
organizations as well as by the external solidarity being shown with the
glorious island. The urgency of efforts are all seeming to affirm the
view that this is no time for there to be a protractedly wounded Cuba.
