Statement from Cuban Ministry of Foreign Relations

MINREX forcefully rejects the manipulation of an issue as sensitive as international terrorism, in order to advance a policy against Cuba, and demands that our country be definitively deleted from this spurious, unilateral, arbitrary list, which is an affront to the Cuban people, and discredits the government of the United States itself.

The Canadian Network on Cuba (CNC) proudly congratulates the Vancouver Free the Five Committee on its 100th monthly picket at the US Consulate in Vancouver in support of the release of all of the five Cuban Heroes.

The Government of the Republic of Cuba strongly condemns the ongoing attempts to perpetrate a coup d’etat against the constitutional government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela as well as the violent incidents that caused several deaths and tens of wounded; attacks on public institutions; the burning of vehicles and destruction which were organized by fascists groups, as was denounced to the world by President Nicolás Maduro Moros.

On the occasion of the fifty-fifth anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution, the Canadian Network On Cuba extends to the people of Cuba and its revolutionary leadership warm and heartfelt greetings and congratulations.
